Pirates and Fairies Day 2012

Don't we look fabulous?!

Well what a day we had!  We might not have made it to Brown's Bay but that did that keep us down?  NO WAY!  A group of wonderful, lovely, talented and super fantastic Mum's helped to turn our hall into a Pirate and Fairy extravaganza!  Room 4 had such a great time they wished it could be a pirate and fairy day everyday  :)

We even got to walk the plank!

After our morning in the hall we made treasure maps (pictures coming soon) and ...

 Room could not have asked for a more enjoyable day!

Room 4 works as a team to clean up our wonderful classroom.

Swans are swimming

Today we learnt all about the letter s.  We even brainstormed all the words that have an s as the beginning sound.

Then it was time for our alphabet activity and boy did we have fun.  We did such a great job cutting out our swimming swans.  When we are cutting we are learning to watch where our scissors are going (we follow the lines with our eyes) and move the paper instead of the scissors.
