Jolly Phonics

Today for Jolly Phonics we practiced writing an o (for orange octopus).

We are learning to form our o's using the Casey Caterpillar shapes - open mouth, then close it, to make a wide open mouth.
We are learning to hold our pencils properly.  We hold the pencil between our Thumbkin and our Pointer with our Tall Finger resting underneath.

When we colour in our picture we are learning to:

  • Stay in the lines.
  • Get rid of the pesky white bits.
  • Colour in without scribbling.

We are Pinehill superstars!
