First we practised tossing the ball into the air, letting it bounce once and then catching in again in our small cone.
Next we had a turn to work with a buddy. We were learning to throw underarm to our buddy, let it bounce once, and then catch.
Finally out came the tennis rackets, YAY!
We all had such fun hitting the ball with our rackets! We even had to try and balance the ball on the racket with the racket lying flat. That was pretty tricky but we will keep trying.
Room 4 cannot wait until Friday for our second tennis lesson! :)

ReplyDeleteThank for commenting on our tennis post. We had so much fun at tennis and learnt so many different skills. Like throwing overarm so that the ball goes over the net. We also learnt how to play tennis games like Ping Pong and Basketball. Alex says hi! From Room 4 and Mrs Shearer.
